What a Rocking wedding at the (absolutely charming) Escot House! I loved everything about this day! To name just a few of these things...
The Ceremony in a old library (proper beauty and the beast vibes) The subtle Day of the Dead theme, Chimichangas, chocolate skulls, cats, cats everywhere (They come complimentary with the venue), live music, temporary tattoo's, super old books, kick ass shoes, A bride in a leather jacket and a goom with a rather exquisite beard.
Most of all though. I love that leather jacketed bride and that bearded groom.
Kaz and Danny! This couple are truly wonderful. We first met at Dawlish Warren for a Maternity session In September 2015. I was so excited for them as they had recently gotten engaged and were pregnant with their little lady. They were building a house together. I feel so honoured to know Kaz and Danny. To have been able to stay in touch after we first met (thank you social media) To witness their journey, see photos of Robyn when she came into the world and see their home coming together. Then the topping on the cake (awful wedding pun intended) to be hired to photograph their wedding! (yes, of course, I did one of my embarrassing dad happy dances. A really big one)
The love that they clearly have for each other, their little babe Robyn and their family and friends is completely undeniable and they are not afraid to show it. My face really ached from smiling all day. Witnessing so much love. Love for people and love for living life!
The day time was about family, with a super intimate ceremony and sit down (mexican) meal. Catching up and laughing hard around one long table. The night was a huge party with drinks flowing, moves throwing, live metal and tons of friends. What a perfect combination.
Thank you Kaz and Danny, for having me, for the chimichanga, the good music, laughs and for treating me as one of the family for a day. Your family welcomed me too, which means the world. Thank you so much.

Childhood sweethearts, a ton of confetti (both outside the church and on the dance floor), An "actual" toast, a warm and loving family atmosphere, the obligatory wedding thing, where non-smokers, smoke cigars and a little trip to Thatchers Rock in a classic Mercedes. oh, and not to forget, great BBQ. What an amazing day!
If you love all things with a minimalist english country/rustic style. If you can't explain why, but you love an exposed beam as much as I do. If you are looking for a relaxed, fun and informal wedding day where you have everything you need all in one place. The The Bickley Mill Inn has a cosy indoor area, covered outdoor decking and seating area (so you don't need to worry about the weather) a lovely garden for photos (with hundreds of wild bunnies), a place to stay on the night of the wedding, lovely staff and the all important option of a great BBQ. Check out the Bickley Mill Inn, Devon.
This was such lovely, chilled and fun day featuring Lucy and Nick, Lucys dog (also called Nick) in a bow tie, a big game of rounders, pizza served from a caravan, everyone dancing with their ties around their heads and of course, The coolest wedding venue ever! Wedding Yurts.
Becca and Lee had a fun, laid back, sunny and Magical, Devon wedding at The Headland hotel in Torquay. This post has some of my favourite moments... Featuring so much fun and laughter in the morning, unique ways of trying to stay cool, youtube tutorials for pocket squares, mind blowing magic from the amazing Dan Brazier, hilarious renditions of songs from the super talented Rich Cottell a lovely sunset overlooking the bay and the biggest fricking wedding cake I've ever seen in my life! followed by Becca and Lee's story and Becca's advice to you if you are planning your wedding.
Hannah and Will had a crazy fun, beautiful and perfect wedding at Boringdon Hall, Plymouth. Featuring their adorable dog Lottie as the ring bearer, wild belly laughs, embarrassing photos revealed by the best man, games of hide and seek, a bride throwing shapes on the dance floor (dressed as a giraffe, yep, a giraffe), cake smooshing and dancing (like Beyonce) in the rain.
Congratulations to Mrs and Mrs Horn. Leah and Lorna had a beautiful Waterside Cornwall Wedding. Featuring festive pjs in June, Hilarious bridesmaids that would randomly break into dance all day, The proudest Grandad ever, A photobombing aunty, lots of tears and laughter. So much laughter!
Siobhan and Steve's wedding at the Atlantic Hotel, Newquay was nothing short of epic. When I first met this couple for an engagement session a couple of years ago, I knew that It would be an honour and a bloody great time to be their wedding photographer.
Terri and Ant had a super relaxed and fun wedding at their home away from home, their workplace. The New Continental Hotel in Plymouth.
My favourite moments include Preparation fun, Champagne spillages, a cute puppy, buttonhole dilemmas (obviously solved by youtube tutorials), Flipflops for everyone, big massive hugs, cigar smoking and powerpuff girl socks.
Lucy & Nick's WINDY St Agnes engagement session. I witnessed love and playfulness. I sniffled alot. I had a watery eye every time I held the camera to it (due to it creating a wind trap). I let the beautiful sun leak into my lense. I wouldnt change anything about this adventure! Thank you so much Lucy and Nick. See you soon for the next one!
An adventure in Paignton, Devon. Super Cold winter wind, Super stunning winter light and Super amounts of pure love! These two are amazing! We talked about their story, their plans for their wedding (festival vibes) and tattoos. But mostly, I stood back and documented pure love. Of course, with the view of the hotel where Maddie asked Jess to Marry her in the background.
Ever wondered where to start when booking flowers for your wedding. Here are some quick tips from an expert florist. The lovely Kelly at Offshore Blooms in Devon. I (Jamie from Webb Family Photography) had the opportunity to photograph her beautiful flowers at Rozzy and Tim's Seaside wedding.
