What a day this Saturday was! Zoe and Chris had a beautiful, relaxed, sunshiny wedding day.
A Catholic ceremony at St Peter's Church in Plymouth (which had a particularly lovely quality of light) Followed by confetti and a short journey to Ivybridge. Only in a replica car from the mummy returns!!! (wow again!) for a marquee reception at the stunning Lukesland Gardens.
The closeness of this family, The Hilarious mates, The speech about sandwiches, The Hog roast, The walk around the gardens and The dancing like nobody's watching, was a truly wonderful combination for a wedding day.
Zoe and Chris styled the wedding with elegance, combined with splashes of bright colour and their love of travel. All beautifully done with DIY, hard work and personality. One personal touch that stood out to me was Zoe's broach bouquet that she made herself.
I'm hoping to catch up with Mr and Mrs Rollinson when they return from their honeymoon in San Diego (wow again, again!) to reflect on this beautiful day and share their own words and advice about weddings. As in my book, they are wedding pro's.
Until then, Here are a few of my highlights from this wonderful day.
